is community members gather to remember a well-known family dead in their virginia home. this comes as many questions remain unanswered this morning. news 4's melissa mollet joins us live from herndon now with the latest on the investigation. melissa, good morning. >> good morning to you, aaron. that's right. we just spoke with investigators. they say the bodies have been removed from the home here in herndon, and the autopsies are scheduled forred today. investigators will be back out here again this morning. they were out here 15 hours from yesterday at noon until early this morning. we'll be back out here in just a little while. one officer has been out here on the scene since about midnight, just keeping this scene secure. they are still not saying at this point what they think happened to this family. take a look at things from out here yesterday. we know a mother and father and two teenage boys lived in the house. when the mother didn't show up for the work on monday and tuesday, a co-worker called police. they say there is no threat to the community. though the families' identities h

of four found dead in their herndon, virginia, home will begin in just over an hour. late this afternoon police identified the family. they believe 52-year-old albert peterson shot and killed his wife, kathy, and their two sons, matthew and christopher. they were all discovered at the home on point rider lane yesterday. the family was found after the parents didn't show up to work for two days. the tragedy has made it difficult for a lot of local families. jackie bensen will have a report with more on how parents can deal with that coming up in our next half hour. >>> a maryland family could be homeless tonight after this car came crashing through the side of their house. this is on olney mill road. the car plowed through the garage, landing in the dining room. the driver was 70 years old and was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be fine. police say he didn't live at the home but the husband and wife who did live there were there at the time but they were not injured. building inspectors are examining the house to see if it is safe enough to be inhabited. >>> in just about two mo

are the criteria for those strikes? is a pattern of life. it is what a drone operator in nevada or virginia or wherever that person may be seized on a video screen and what he or she believes constitute activity tha tis a threat to the united states in a situation where a person cannot be arrested, etc. that is the basis. that basis has not been made express. that basis has led to many civilian deaths. we have a lot of reasoning to question what the president has said and that laws are being complied with. one of our principal recommendations is that all the information available the provided. this is something that has to be emphasized. "the new york times" reported in may of this year that the administration considers that all adult males killed in drone strikes are combatants. think about that for a minute. what it authorizes authorities to do is to kill first, knowing that who is killed afterward will be turned in combat and unless there is evidence of that person's innocence. i think that fact helps to explain the unreal numbers that the government has been issuing to us for months and

in the midwest area, ohio, michigan, and ohio, states in the southwest, colorado, new mexico and nevada. virginia and florida in the south. all of the states are pretty different. the six states in the midwest are much more heavy and have a slow level of demographic change and they are more bechler changing slowly. that is favorable in showing preference for barack obama could with that in mind, let's look at some of the particular swing states that are in play. more than any other state, perhaps ohio is one of the pogroms. a state that was believed to be for mitt romney, but if obama holds all six electoral votes, he is only four electoral votes short of victory. critical romney strategy in the state of ohio. that is not happening at this point. at this point, some of the data on the bottom, you see that the were served with the white working class and he lost by 10 points in 2008. his hope was that he could expend that much a part of it. that is really what romney strategy is. romney is not anywhere close to driving up that margin. he is doing no better at all for white college graduates. that
